PLBR strengthens senior team with two new hires

Publicis Life Brands Resolute (PLBR) has further bolstered its senior team with the appointment of two new hires.

Glen Halliwell joins the business as Associate Director, in charge of all medical education accounts, and Susan Rome joins as Director of Scientific Strategy.

With more than a decade of healthcare communications experience behind him, Glen specialises in designing, planning and running medical education programmes. As a previous Resolute employee, his appointment marks a return to the company after 7 years away.  “Besides the impressive client base and the chance to be a part of a diverse international network, what drew me back is the approach PLBR takes to med comms, prioritising the development of thoughtful and creative campaigns, delivered by the right mix of talent from across the team and the network. It’s great to be back!” Glen said.

As Director of Scientific Strategy, Susan will blend scientific, strategic and creative expertise to develop insightful brand strategy and support the team to communicate complex information in a simple, impactful way. “The role was defined as someone who could think with their heart as well as their head and this really resonated with me,” said Susan.  “I am passionate about the science but I also enjoy getting under the skin of a strategic challenge to find a way forward that cuts to the core of potential road-blocks.”  Susan brings with her over 15 years of experience developing educational and promotional communications with global and regional reach, and spanning diverse therapy areas.
