Publicis Resolute crowned International Communications Team of the Year winner for the second year running
Publicis Resolute, the specialist PR and Medical Education agency, has won the coveted title of Communications Team of the Year (International Challenge) at the PharmaTimes Awards for the second year running.
The Communications Team of the Year (CTOY) award is the only pharma industry award that tests the ability of the entrants to assess marketing challenges, and to evolve their communication strategies and implementation programmes in a high-pressured ‘real-life’ pitch situation.
The 2017 competition saw an increase of almost double the number of entrants compared to previous years, as well as a high-quality line-up of finalists who “demonstrated a dynamic combination of marketing and communication competencies”, said Sabina Syed, Co-chair of the Executive Steering Committee, at the awards ceremony.
Publicis Resolute attended the competition finals on 12th October 2017, along with six other leading health communications agencies. They battled it out against each other for the 2017 title in front of a judging panel of senior industry marketers and communications specialists – the agencies were tasked with developing and presenting a full strategic communications programme in just two hours!
Healthcare communications is a constantly evolving industry and comprises a number of varied disciplines such as PR, medical education, policy development, market access and public affairs. Developing a communications programme therefore requires strategic and creative thinking.
The Publicis Resolute team captain, Victoria Stanley, said, “This was a really challenging competition, and we are extremely honoured to have won this prestigious award for the second time in a row! Well done to all involved, and we hope to see you again next year.”
