The Lab, Publicis Health UK’s Unique Internship Programme, Reopens for Fifth Consecutive Year

‘We CU not CVs’: The Lab is accepting applications for anyone interested in well-being communications

Publicis Health, the world’s largest health and well-being communications agency group, today announced that we are now accepting applications for The Lab: A Place for Bright Sparks. Unlike standard internship programmes, Lab interns do not spend their time getting coffees or waste their work hours filing and photocopying. The Lab is a unique internship that lets selected interns, a.k.a., “Bright Sparks,” work on real projects with real clients—starting from day one. The Lab applicants don’t need prior communications or media experience to get experience at Publicis Health. No degree? No portfolio? No problem! The Lab provides real-life work experience, a world-class agency name to add to a CV and interns get paid for the privilege.

Founded in 2014, The Lab aims to provide anyone with a passion to work in health and well-being communications the chance to apply for a six-month paid internship. Formal qualifications or previous work experience are not required, which disrupts the standard approaches used to find people to work in health and well-being.

Last year, five Bright Sparks were chosen to join our business, working across creative, account handling and capability development in three Publicis Health UK locations. These Bright Sparks are now working alongside previous Lab alumni.
