What is the biggest (positive) change you’ve made in your life?
Starting to run and cycle. I was sure I hated both, but after getting forced into a 10k and having an accidental baptism of fire into cycling, I realised I was very wrong. Mentally, physically and socially joyous. Top tip – if you enter a ballot for a bike race when you don’t own a bike, you might just get a place and have to cycle 100 miles. It will all be worth it in the end.
What’s the most ballsy move you’ve ever made?
Probably jumping out of a plane from 15,000 ft over Lake Taupo, New Zealand. I’ll never forget the views from up there! That or walking across a field containing a cow. Pretty similar levels of fear/adrenaline involved.
What’s your secret weapon?
Dark chocolate (you can tell yourself it’s a health food because AT LEAST 1 study sort of said so) and cups of tea. They solve all problems.
